• Nationality: German
• Criminal Record: Wanted by the International Criminal Court in The Hague for numerous Crimes Against Humanity in the name of “Mutant Liberation.”
• Powers: Magneto has complete mental control over all known metals, making him among the most formidable threats the modern world has ever faced.
• Known History: Imprisoned in a concentration camp by the Third Reich, the boy who would become Magneto engineered his escape using his newly-discovered mutant powers; but the rest of his family had already perished, permanently embittering him against humanity. Though he worked for a time in his youth with Professor Charles Xavier to defend mutants, eventually Magneto’s much more radical views forced a break with Xavier. He founded the extremist Brotherhood of Mutants, which believes mutantkind will be safe only when it has subjugated mainline humanity.

Observations:“Unconfirmed chatter suggests the Brotherhood of Mutants may be trying to acquire deposits of Iso-8 left on Earth in the wake of The Pulse. Apparently Magneto believes the extraterrestrial element has some capacity to boost mutant powers. If so, SHIELD needs to stop him at all costs. Magneto is powerful enough as it is, which is too much.
